Genre
Sacred soul — where gospel roots meet contemporary sound.
Artist
Deeply soulish. God-influenced. Music that moves through her — inspiring others to reach for something higher.
She prefers to sing without boundaries or filters — sensing where the spirit of the music wants to go and moving in that direction. Her approach is impromptu by nature. She may begin at the back of a song and work her way forward, start in the middle and let it unfold from there, or follow wherever the feeling takes her. A piece of a song. A string of songs woven together. Whatever it takes to carry the message deep into the heart.
Stephanie's roots are in the church — where she learned that music does more than entertain. It moves something in a person. She began singing as a young child — and from the start, it was clear this was more than a gift. It was a calling.
Over the years she has sung at large events and in intimate rooms not unlike this one. The setting changes. The intention doesn't.
By day, Stephanie works in technology for a Wall Street financial services firm. She loves interior design, cooking, and laughing with family and friends. Music in the Living Room is, for Stephanie, a return to something essential. Small room. Close listening. Melodies that invite you to experience God.
